 Sunil began his career as a professional civil engineer in 1992. After pursuing an M.B.A degree in 1995, he became a qualified stock broker in 1996 whilst working in the offshore finance and insurance sector. By 1998, he had also completed his M.Sc. (Insurance and Risk Management) with distinction from the City University Business School in London. Sunil worked for a short period in Johannesburg with the Alexander Forbes Group, until he was appointed Managing Director of the Alexander Forbes Reinsurance Broking operations in Mauritius in 1999.
A year later he completed his ACII professional qualifications and is currently a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Since 2004, Sunil has been appointed Managing Director of London Brokers in association with Benfield Group, the world’s leading independent reinsurance intermediary. Sunil has travelled extensively worldwide, attending various international industry gatherings especially in Africa, Asia and Europe.
